Editorial Mission

Trustee’s mission is to provide health care system and hospital boards with the leadership information they need to improve community health and run financially stable institutions.

Trustee alerts board members to health care trends that have an impact on their organizations. Articles advise trustees how to enhance their governance skills in order to be more efficient and effective decision-makers. The magazine also further expands their understanding of executive management and physician concerns.

Trustee is a paid-circulation publication written for governing board members who have the authority and responsibility to approve purchasing decisions. It is the only magazine serving this market segment and is the official magazine of the AHA’s Center for Healthcare Governance.
